Kubica 5th??? What a joke, people think Hamilton has performed better over a season than Robert Kubica who, despite the team stopping development of the F1.08 after Canada, managed to stay in title contention until the penultimate round? Just shows how "knowledgeable" todays British fans are. My top 5 would be 5. Vettel 4. Alonso 3. Hamilton 2. Kubica 1. Massa but its obvious Hamilton will be number 1, which is ridiculous considering the countless number of mistakes he has made this year.

That proves one thing clear and transparent. The voting fans are really knowledgeable and can appreciate talent. Than who knows he could have been voting for himself....

Why did BMW so valiantly try to resurrect Quick Nick's career mid-way through this past season ( at the expense of Kubica)? Surely Dr. Mario Thiesen must now know that you can't push a rope up-hill.
What would Jean Todt, or Sam Michael accomplish at BMW?

I'd put alonsa first(clearly did the best with the packeag he was given), Hamilton (just because of the pressure he was put under), Vettel (again not the best car, but was consistently fast), Massa (had arguable the best car plus help from the fia on a couple of occasions at least), Kubica (did well but didn't really challenge for wins unless the top 3 made mistakes).

"any driver on the grid that managed to squeeze 110 per cent out of his car week-in and week-out"

Please, this is just not possible, sounds like an American Football coach.

100% is 100%

If a guy gives 110% that means that he was giving 91% before.

But I would have put Kubica higher
1-FA - easy choice overall (but you knew I'd say that!), 2-RK - team stopped development, 3-FM - team blew it, 4-LH - too many mistakes, 5-SV - came a little late

Kubica did a solid job,but that was it. During races i cant remember him overtaking anyone. The only reason he won Canada was because Hamilton rammed Kimi. He is a good solid driver but not spectacular like Alonso,Hamilton,Massa and Vettle. When Kubica led the Championship and people talked of him as a possible champion, the next couple of races he was no where,so can he take the pressure? Thats a huge question which he needs to answer,IMO.

I think he deserve his 5th place, but nothing more.

Most consistant driver of the year, no doubt about that.
