F1 » Rosberg: I haven't given up on Williams

Williams' Nico Rosberg is in fighting mood as he looks forward to the 2009 F1 season - adamant that he has never lost faith in either himself or his team, and confident that he is 'a better driver now than ever'...

I too hope that Williams improve, even though it is harder for the smaller teams to keep up with all these rule changes. New rules means spending more on research rather than racing.

The more strong teams there are on the gird, the more good racing we'll get.

Altough im a big supporter of privater teams i think he should get out of there, ever since the likes of toyota, bmw, renault, honda came in to f1 the smaller teams cant compete with them, jordan, prost, arrows, minardi, stewart, sauber, bar are all gone now, as long as the manufacturers are in f1 williams are only goin to go 1 way, sadly

Its a shame that Williams havent been up at the front of the grid for a while, so here is to hoping that the regulations work in their favour and we can see Nico mixing it up at the front of the grid where he belongs. Williams have always been great on the engineering side and hopefully Patrick Head has had some flashes of inspiration

Since electronics are kind of back with KERS I see a chance for Williams to came back to the front, they were so good at it in the past and have been working a lot at it, even bought a company specialized in the technology.

I like Nico, but i think he need a bit of more character, like Mansell, Piquet, Prost, Montoya...

F1 needs privateers, they put the magic on the padock... F1 needs people who stand out and clear... that has made it so important. There is no magic in Toyota, BMW, Honda... but Renault has Flavio, Ferrari has passion and heritage, McLaren used to be a private team, RBR (and STR) are growing, Williams has soul (two), and F India are the needed back makers.
