F1 » Button: Honda buyer will get 'a great team'

Jenson Button has affirmed his commitment to Honda as the squad's F1 future hangs precariously in the balance, stating that he 'can't believe' a buyer won't be found, and that whoever does step in will get 'a great team'.

It is, or could be, a great team. Shame about the drivers really. That said, their experience would be essential for anyone with a new car to develop.

I should feel bad for a team that spends the mega millions like they do for fun. Honda is just putting up there toys in F1. They are still in many forms of racing. They just chose to shut down the F1 team as the product F1 puts out sucks. Button will just have to do like the rest of us and look for another job. With one exception he has millions to sit on while he finds one.

No doubt Honda is a great team. However, a great team needs a great deal of money...

You're way too expensive, Jens, for a driver who only won 1 GP from 100+ starts. Sorry but that's a hard fact. You would have to find another F1 team to keep on racing. Now in these hard times, how would you do that? Get your price tag some major discount, something like 90% off.

Rud Devil, don't be so mean to Jensen. He is a good driver but he has never had a good car. If he had had a chance of staying in Renault, I think he should have done nothing worse than Alonso did, done something better than Fisi did: not to mention being in Ferrari or Mclaren.

Jens is a good driver on his day, but those are far between. You may blame the car. But really, he isn't worth that much money.

He has made some awful team choices during his career, so what goes around comes around.
