I'm wandering if LH'll dare to move from Mac Laren and try to win other championships with another manufacturer and we'll see if he is as good as Michael was!!

F1 » Murray: Hamilton can be best in F1 history

'No reason' why McLaren-Mercedes' 2008 F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton should not go on to displace Michael Schumacher as the greatest driver in F1 history in the fullness of time, says veteran commentator Murray Walker.

Winning more than 7 titles? Are we sure F1 is still going to be around in 7 years time what with Spanky Mosley and the poison dwarf doing their best to squeeze all possible life out of it.

@Jbou Did you read or watched the interview of Michael in person when asked about Lewis Hamilton's future?? I don't think so.

I'm a great Michael Schumacher fan and I wish that he began racing again in F1 or at least the superbikes (altough I don't think it's possible),

but the big Michael Schumacher can't stop other champions to grow.

Yes, I did.

Words are words. I just want to see what he can really do: LH is a talented driver, I don't discuss about that, but I'd like to know if he could win with another car.

The real champions love challenges, watch schumacher, Rossi,...

Words are words ? ? I respect what a person like Michael says(about his records) and I don't denie his words.

Every champion must have one of the greatest cars in the lot to win a championship.

An F1 driver history begans from karts and there one can see too if it's the driver or the car that makes difference.

I think like schumacher said, that Lewis Hamilton has the potential to beat his records, Mc Laren or not.

Gosh wouldn't that make F1 even more boring than it already is?? What F1 needs is a certain Mr V. Rossi to liven things up a bit.

I dont want to take anything away from lewis's championship, he deserves to be champion, but lets remember the reason why the mclaren was so fast and so reliable this year, the reason being they stole technical data from ferrari, go back to 2 years ago, they had lost newey to red bull and and were heading on a downward spiral, and look at them now.

Just think people shouldnt be getting carried away thinking lewis is the next schumacher

check your facts alan, mclaren did not steal any data from ferrari, they were passed on from a ferrari employee to a mclaren employee and by all accounts not used. it has not been proved or even suggested that ron dennis or mclaren asked for any information that could be used on their car unless you know better?

Alonso had the same info. Maybe that's how the Regie got the car up to speed. Even without all the bull it is not hard to tell that Hamilton is a good. Very good.
