More proof that the poisonous dwarf has lost his marbles, any team leaving F1 is a great loss.

F1 commercial rights-holder Bernie Ecclestone has slated Honda's withdrawal from the sport, suggesting the Japanese concern will be 'no great loss' and that it set 'a bad example to other teams' with its spending.

Bernie should go and join Mugabe in Zimbabwe - I think the two of them would get along famously. Then Bernie can continue his dictatorship in the company of people who understand how he works...

Ecclestone blasts Honda for excessive spending, however he forgets that it is he that was to blame. The FIA have been asking for such high entry fess both from the teams, drivers via their super racing licence which has gone up by 400% this year and the circuits which now need government help to raise the funds.
People are attacking the manufacturers, yet Bernie and his consortium are the ring leaders.
Maybe the FIA should look to reduce their income as well as the teams expenditure on manufacturing, etc.
confucious say "Those in glass houses should not throw stone!"

....but if you look beyond his lack of compassion for the guys who've poured their heart and soul into Honda Racing, he's right. It's a pathetic return on investment.

I love the comment about Zimbabwe: Robert Mugabe's means of holding onto power doesn't seem a million miles away from Bernie's. Certainly in the early days he managed to put the fear of God into people: I wonder how?
