I'm sure he'll be F1 champion one day and he seems a nice guy too when i've seen him interviewed. It will be interesting to see how he goes next year in the red bull after beating it this year in the torro. I hope it works out for him and he's consistently towards the front in '09.

If Vettel gets in a decent team (which he will) then i would put my life savings on him becoming world champion...

He has a natural talent and has done something which a lot of so called top drivers could not do and thats qualify on pole and WIN the race in a budget team and car.

hear, hear. and dont forget, his first F1 race was as stand-in, in a car that was barely in the top four teams, and he finished in the points, the youngest ever to accomplish a points finish

Im afraid you're wrong
1 Ferrari 204 points
2 BMW 101
3 Renault 51
Note - McLaren stripped of all 2007 constructors' points after being found in breach of International Sporting Code through possession of confidential Ferrari data.

oli, you are right, but i was going by the fact that going into 2007, mclaren, ferrari, and renault were the top teams. mclaren getting stripped of their points should not be taken into account, and renaults slump could not have been expected. in other words, bmw came second by default.

Here is a consumate racer truly freindly without being smarmy devoid of arrogance but full of a truely god given skill. He races on the limit with a distinct lack of involvement in incidents seb is a perfect roll model the most refreshingly uncomplicated new talent in F1 for many years and a multipe word champion in waiting
