I wonder if Bernie did not actually notice that the final GP of the season probably had more excitement and drama than the rest of the season put together despite Hamilton ''only'' needing to finish 5th or higher? He needs to realise that there are far more pressing issues in F1 than his beloved medal insanity!

Why does no-one question Kimi's 2007 championship with a demonstrably illegal car!

We would see more overtaking if the stewards were not so nannyish in handing out penalties. (They seemed to have been influenced by our Labour government''s success in creating a nanny state and look what that has done for us!)

This 'medal' business is so much tosh. BE's argument would be equally answered by just opening up the points gap between a 1st and 2nd place.

B.E's idea of the medal system coupled with the idea (fortunately not accepted) of standard engines, gearboxes et al would result in F1 copying A1 ... I really appreciate the difference between the two fomula's and whilst A1 could be classed as second rate it does provide some interesting and occassionally hilarious moments but that is only down to the fact the general level of driver skills are lower in A1.

Basically, as F1 is the PINNACLE of motorsport: leave it alone and that even goes for minimising the spend as it is clear that we all benefit in the long run from the technological advancements made in the superior formula of motorsport ... 3 cars per team on the gride = GREAT!!!!! :p

Brian.. we don't talk about the red team or sunny and a couple of others run in and start posting a bunch of crap in tongue. Universal my backside sunny. Universally excepted is the pass on Timo during the last race. Did you see how fast Lewis flew by Glock. It almost made me want to call Sunny and say did you see that? That was the WDC driving by... Hey Lewis

If the points system disappears and we end up with the medal system, we end up with a situation where the whole championship can be influenced by race stewards and bad decision, not by drivers and teams.

How many (up-appealable)retropective drive through penalties will we see if there is the slightest doubt over an overtaking move.

B.E. wants more overtaking, the F.I.A stewards dont.

How do we get on this 'Market Research' panel, this idea must not go through.
