Let's see what Luca says at the end of next year if neither of his drivers win the championship. His "Felipe lost the title in the most beautiful way" remark is completely absurd! Felipe lost, PERIOD, just as Hamilton did the year before. Hamilton was known as the "choker" for that failure, until he came through. Should Felipe now hold that moniker? After all, Ferrari had the better machinery, yet the better driver prevailed.

Mr. Montezemolo is absoulutely correct in his response. I am a helicopter pilot, and any good pilot knows one mistake will cost you your race. Ferrari is and will always the no.1 racing and manufacturing car company in the world. Kimi and Felipe are our driver''s right now and they will return with everything next year. My dream is to attend at least one F1 race before I die but obviously, Scuderia Ferrari must be no.1 and 2. I can''t wait for next season to begin. Ciao!

There going to need more than they brought last year. Try bringing some desire for Kimi. And Massa needs a re-fueling plan along with some rain tires. That should get them to 2 and 3.

@irlirie69 - you would have a point if all you look at are the points at the end of the season. I assume that Luca was referring to the final race. Going into the last race with the points lead and not taking championship is why people were so critical of Hamilton. Felipe and Lewis definetely had their share of choking throughout the season. Felipe was never the favorite going into the last race. He won that race so it was up to Hamilton to win it or bin it. I don't recall Hamilton or Kovi having any mechanical failures during any of the races this year so the Mclaren seemed to be the better car. Certain tracks favored each team so performance was fairly balanced.

Sharma. McLaren are the number 1 race team. Ferrari is just an FIA subsisduary division of the FIA.
Montezoomalot will have had indication from Max the Perv and the FIA that the new regs should hand Ferrari the 2009 championship on a plate.
Why would he need a talented driver like Lewis, he got away with having Schumacher for years with the odd fix and turn of a blind eye to Ferrari and Shumi's dirty dealings :D

F1init do you really believe what you post or are you trying to stir up some debate? Regardless of your feelings about MS there is no denying that he had extreme talent. I get the feeling that if MS was English you would be singing a different tune.

If you do believe what you post, you must be foolish to keep watching F1.

It makes sense. Most anybody would rather have 2 strong team players than 1 diva on their team anyway

rob , RULES!!!
f1init, i cannot see how next years rules will favour ferrari, or in fact any other team. the rules are new to all, and ALL teams will have an equal chance to adapt to them. the team that adapts best, will be the winner at the end. it could even e toyota!

Montezemolo knows Massa would have won the championship easily without Ferrari inumerous mistakes. As per the dirvers comments, he is more than right.
