So, um, Kimi Raikkonen isn''t in the top-10. Sorry, but by anyone''s standards, and biases, that''s simply nuts.

Granted, he had a very poor season by his standards, but c''mon. You''re saying the hideously under-performing Kovalainen, the (maybe above-) average Glock, and several others were better, or did a better job, than Raikkonen? Even though he''s got the excuse of being in the best car on the grid, that''s still nonsense.

kimi had a lazy season, he hardly deserves a mention, i agree with this poll, and i am amazed too, was expecting hamilton to be no.1 for the sake of it as usual, but the better man got it, alonso is in his prime, shame the renault wasnt, but a great year for the man most were expecting to fall on his face this year. well, i say most because of the british media and the 'amazing job hamilton has done' but cmon, he had a the best car on the grid. renault wudda been nowhere if they had fisi/piquet for example, alosa seriously had to work for anything this year, won this on merit.

so alonso is number 1 because "he won two races in a car that wasnt up to it---", well by that criteria, vettel should have been number 1 as his car was a lot worse than the renault, and he won a race! anyway, i dont know whose opinions this listing was created from, but whereas the readers poll was reasonably accurate, this listing is most peculiar

Massa, 4th? :?He almost won the championship!
Once again I agree with Rich Ard, Alonso 1st, whats that all about? He won 2 races, one of which, Singapore only coz Massa had his pit-stop problem I think.
Kubica coming 3rd I agree wiv, he did a superb job this season. :D
Agreed, Raikkonen didnt do a very good job this season, but not even in the top 10, he did a better job than Kovalainen! :-o
Id say correct top 5, wrong order though. :p

Yeah this list is a little off the mark in my opinion as well. Undoubtedly Alonso is in the top 5 but not #1. It's really hard to place a number #1 spot on any with a season very close in the points up to the penultimate round and also riddled with team and driver errors. But if I was to base it on a single drive it would be a toss up between Lewis at Hockenheim and Vettel at Monza. Both driver's were just in a race of their own on tracks with opportunities for overtaking. I know some of you may say what about FM at the Hungaroring? True he did overtake LH at the first corner and rocket off, but the HR is very difficult traack to overtake on once ur in the front especially in a Ferrari.

Kimi not in the Top 10 is madness !!!!!!! :-o What about his flawless win in Spain!!! He had a lot off bad luck ie. Drivethrough penalty in Monaco, What can I say about Hamilton crashing into him in Canada, I could go on but whats the point!!!!
I do agree with Alonso to be fair.

Kimi's effort was not top ten in the seat he sits in. I think both polls reflect what many thought was Kimi's worst outing in F1. Not saying he is thru driving but he needs to really pick it up next year. Massa will be looking for a return on his efforts and I think Ferrari may be backing him as the number one.

i as a alonso fan would of given it to lewis as he is world champ, but crash argument that he turned a team round that at the start of the year were really only just in the top15 to scoring more points than anyone in the last 3rd of the season is a valid one. in realty its a difficult one. who achieved most? lewis. who made the best of what they had? alonso ( i would of said kubica but his last 4 or 5 races were not good enough)

i do think kimi should of been in the top 10 tho. and 4th for massa does seem harsh, as his title was lost not down to him. id have the top 3 equal, massa, lewis and fernando. then kubica, vettel. followed by kimi.
