Times must be hard if you are advertising your own book to get sales. :)

Well it's not the first time they've used a supposed 'news' story to advertise their book. Don't worry though, these comments will soon be removed and comments disabled

Ah, so it is the season of goodwill to all men I see as small minded and no doubt jealous individuals seek to deride Crash for promoting their excellent books, why not I ask, have you nothing to promote yourselves, or is it that whatever you have is not worth promoting or doesn't even get into the top 100,000 of anything worth having.

Well done Crash, not only are you leading the way on the web but you're also doing it in books, maybe you'll start a magazine next or a TV channel, now wouldn't that give your detractors something to whine about.

There are such bad losers out there, maybe it's because they can't copy your stories of self promotion and pass them off as their own!

Following on from the various comments about Crash promoting their own products, do any of you watch TV, listen to the radio, read the newspapers or magazines or is all that beyond your intellectual reach?!!!

All media companies use whatever means available to promote their own products be they programmes, products, individuals etc etc.

I see no harm at all in Crash promoting their excellent books, calendars and whatever else they choose to promote, after all they don't charge us to visit this site, they don't charge us to download anything, they provide us with up to the minute news reporting, the very best images from the world of motorsport and all that you wan-kers can do is *****

I have no problem with them promoting their book (hell it's advertised on nearly every page) or with the book itself, just not disguised as a NEWS story. As for the TV analogy, when was the last time you saw Coronation Street on the News At Ten headlines?
