F1 » Vettel admits ultimate Ferrari F1 'goal'

F1's youngest-ever race-winner Sebastian Vettel may be happy at Red Bull for now, but he makes no secret of his desire to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Michael Schumacher and drive - and win - for Ferrari one day.

Well, then drive well this year and the seat is yours.. Who would he be replacing? My bet would be the Finn.

Uh!
then he will be ungratefull to Red Bull.... :)
I told you guys that there were other 16 drivers that would jump to Ferrari...here is one! and that does not mean he is not grateful to Red Bull, it means he wants the best team (at least in possibilities), and it does not mean that if Red Bull gives him a competitive car that could challenge the WDC, then he will remain in Red Bull.

I think he was better off staying at torro rosso, they have the same car as red bull but have the better engine, plus having the ferrari engine would open the gate to the team themselfs

I hope next year Renault engine will be as superior as Ferrari or Mercedes engine at least slightly slower. And the next year Red Bull chassis will be a perfect mate for the Renault engine. If not so Vettel will have to work very hard to maintain his performance.

Vettel in his first year finished in the same position as Jenson Button in his first year. So he is not headline news.

He has won, 1 race (wow) when Hamilton was penalised before the race.
Why is this guy Vettel meant to be so amazing? Where is the evidence?

When he gets within 1 point of the WDC driving a Macca/Ferrari, then I'll be impressed. That will be a few years yet.

Having said that he is polite, a nice person and well worth watching on TV.

Lets just not 'hype' everthing quite so much.

please, please, give Vettel a couple of years before saying he is so great!
He did some splendid performances, but are you comparing him today to Alonso?
If I were Ferrari I would not have any doubt today...in 2 years things may change a lot!
