F1 » Ferrari pit-stop 'traffic lights' to return

A minor quibble, but I still can't believe that nobody noticed that the traffic lights were ditched *during* not *after* the Singapore GP.

It wasn't picked up during commentary here in the UK, the for the last pit stop near the end of the race (I think it was Räikkönen), the lollipop was clearly used!

No wonder they do not having a workable KERS. They are busy making sure they can get gas in the car without killing the crew. I think they should stay on that approach and leave the 2 to 5 tenths the KERS will get them for later.

Ok my opinion last year was that when a team allows one accident to happen due to this system it is inexcusable. To allow it more than once they should have been heavily penalised with constructor point deductions...didn't they break a crew members leg in the process??? How bad does it have to be until they take constructor points off a team for unsafe practice? Death perhaps? .. Hmm then again it was Ferrari..one rule for one one for another..

Somewhat refreshing to see praise rather than slating for it since other categories of motorsport use similar systems - V8 Supercars use the radio and air jacks to release the cars... but that's a different kettle.

Who controls the release when other cars are in the lane? one of the wheelmen?

Ferrari are the most error prone pit outfit in F1 and this will only add to the spectacle. It's been a while since we had a fry-up (Schumacher at Hockenheim?) so would be nice to see one this term (in a very superficial, very quickly extinguished light-burning-of-overalls kind of way of course)
