timo was going to be the butt of sarcasm , no matter what the result. if he had kept the car on the road, ahead of vettel, lulu would have lost the wdc by one point. then, imagine the comments that would have been made, such as , helping ferrari, fix etc. he just couldnt win, could he?

As a Brazilian, I can say that I accepted the result very well. In fact, deeply inside me I did not want Massa do win. He is not half as good as Senna and do not deserve the spot. I know this is a English magazine, but what about all the moaning coming from de English supporters about Hamilton punishments during the championship? Some even said the name of the the red team was FIArrari. :D

Yea agreed,a VERY strange ending to a VERY strange race in a VERY strange year, but i wouldnt have had it anyother way!It kept EVERYBODY on the edge of their seat til the end!Nd everyone who says it didnt is lying!:p
Everybody knows that Glock was on the dry tyres so obviously didnt have as good grip, for Timo that was the right decision, he did gain places out of it.Also,if you look at the data you will see Hamilton had a really good climb up the final hill and finished less than a second after Vettel.:)
Personally,if Hamilton had come 6th and Massa won the WDC from more wins,id still have said Hamilton was champion just because one of those wins would've been Spa!:)
MY opinion ONLY!:D

Well, that's the problem. Everybody wants to say "well, what if?" instead of accepting What is! :)

Glock was caught in the middle, pure and simple.

He race for position and make gamble that didn't pay off. Even worst, he was accused of giving "helping hand" in the title... which is yes, accidentally and unintentionally. Now 2008 already done and dusted, forget everything and look forward to 2009, shall we?

Did any of You see that little video (photoshopped of course) Lewis drives by Timo and hands Him a wad of cash? I don't know if I can say which forum it was posted on, but it was soooo choice! Mclaren tried to play too safe, so close to being bitten You know where. Do You think they'll try that approach again?

I hope it was not a fluke that he slowed, Ferrari deserve it for the years of team orders which ruined the sport! So many seasons of potentially great battles robbed from us because the reds decided who was going to win from the start of the season. The FIA should be ashamed for letting it go on. Little wonder so many fans are synical these days.

Hey, Timo picked up a place or 2 by going for it! It was a Fluke, or as I say a decision by the racing gods. Hami won! Will He listen to the McLaren tacticians next year? What is really important is the Fact that Vettel blew His doors off for that 1 championship Point. Hamy had no answer!
