Worst thing Honda ever did was getting rid of David Richards. The guy knew how to structure teams and get the best out of his workforce and assets a bit like Flavio.
They were moving up the grid right up to the point Honda decided they wanted their own guy (didn't Button get a win under Richards's reign?)
I bet Honda look back and kick themselves.

I think that anyone who is thinking seriously of buying the Honda outfit and not keeping Ross is pretty stupid. I think that all in all, he is the one major attraction to buying Honda, notwithstanding the fact that they also have great facilities.

'Unlikely to test between now and the Australian Grand Prix'? :? Even if they do get bought I cant imagine a better 09 season than 08 if there's no car testing, the drivers wont have got to know their car. Also if the drivers dont think they're going to have a drive they wont be at their physical peak so wont be at their best either.:)
I'm sorry but as much as id love to see Honda bought, i cant imagine anyone buying it this late on. We'll see! :)

Please notice, The press is now using the word Defunct! Honda is in big trouble. It will cost Them almost as much $ to sit out 09 than to take part. In devastation comes opportunity, perhaps sombody is waiting for an 11th. hr. deal? :)

yes, any buyer would have to "buy" the debts and liabilities, hence honda is for sale for $1. and dont forget, one of the debts would be for button. £15m payoff!

Button could always forgo his payoff and put that back into the mix to become a driver /part owner , Brawn earnt some serious money during his time at Ferrari ,so there's another source of purchase, now all it needs is for Schumacher to get involved in team ownership and Honda will be ready to rock and roll

Apparently, The Schui/Brawn has already been denied! The last thing Ferrai would want is Micheal getting back in F1 Car. Perhaps that's why they've kept Him under Contract. But OH what a rumour :)

How about Schumacher/Brawn running the team from the wall, with Ferrari supplied engines? Kind of like the STR/Red Bull setup, as a feeder team for Ferrari. Probably just a pipe dream, but it would be good to see it happen.
