I really Hope Honda are on the grid in OZ but the longer this goes on the less I expect to see them there.

Ferrari has said that it would be happy to supply the former Honda team with engines should it be rescued for the 2009 F1 season.

Agreed Richard, personally I take EVERYTHING Nick Fry says with a large pinch of salt.

calvin, i think that the main part of your statement (also on autosport) is "NICK FRY SAYS----". this is all part of the talking up for a sale. ross brawn didnt confirm it, so i would take it with a barrow load of salt. maybe the offer of a team for $1 enticed 30 chancers out of the woodwork. there is no way that there would be 30 or even 12 people interested in purchasing the honda team.
adam, as far as i know dallara are the manufacturers of the a1gp cars. ferrari designed the car and provided the engines

I'm starting to believe that the only way to convince some fool to commit Hundreds of millions is to stick Herr Schumacher in as #1 Driver :) Starting to look like We won't see this Team in Aus.

Apparently Nick Fry is now saying that there are 12 seriously interested parties and they are talking to Honda about how to proceed. He also said that these 12 were out of an original 30 interested parties.

So, maybe Prodirve is still there, who knows. Anyway, they should be able to make a deal with at least one of those 12 which can only be a good thing.

I didn't think Ferrari actually built the A1 gp chassis, am I wrong?
Also would It just be the engine or other drive train components?
