Enough recognition is not given to the pressure LH is under since his F1 career. We have seen KR make mistakes and FA make mistakes with all the experience they had. Most people crack when the media is watching them, when their team mate is against them, when other drivers gang up on them, when the FIA penalises them, but what they dont know is that it makes LH stronger and if they cant come with anything else then it makes him dominant. Only Schumacher had this much presure and that was in his later days and he never had presure from his team mate. 09 season I want Mclaren, Renault, Ferrari & BMW to be strong and battle it out. Renault & Mclaren need better 2nd drivers.

You need proof???? Listen to Ron own words: they were racing Alonso, not Hamilton. Alonso's team decisions were made based on Alonso's position and chances. But they make Alonso's own strategy! Do you need a better proof???? Do you think it was fair???
BTW, Alonso's tire pressures were find to be wrong a couple of times. Do you thnik FIA could find something if Ron does not want to?

People may know me as pro-Hamilton and pro-McLaren, but Ron Dennis DID say the comment about racing Alonso. I can't understand why people are disagreeing with comments that only have the above fact in them!

Alonso is an awesome driver and can be WDC again, I'm sure. I also have to agree with the notion that Alonso would have beaten Hamilton IF he'd been driving a Ferrari last season. Hamilton made far too many costly mistakes, something Alonso doesn't tend to do (Monaco aside). However, if my sister had been born a man she'd been my brother, so the arguement of 'what if' has no standing, LH IS the 2008 WDC and nothing will change that. I hope he does it again in 2009

Im a huge Hamilton fan but I also have a high opinion of Alonso, whatever happened at Mclaren between them is in the past.
A) did Alonso not like a rookie pushing him as hard as LH did?
B) did the team favour LH because the realised he was their future for a long time? we'll never know and I dont care about it anymore, but if Alonso did join Ferrari then there would be some epic battles between the 2 of them!!!!
It would bring alot of excitement to the races and much needed +++ publicity
If it does I just hope the idiots at Maranello, I mean FIA don't stick there nose in and spoil a great prospect

I think the one thing that will happen in the future is that Team Princaples will be Much more cautious about Driver Pairing. The infighting at McLaren 07 allowed Kimi to sneak up from behind and steal the WDC. Only time will tell if Ferrari & Mclaren remain equal enough for the Drivers to make the difference. 08 was no classic. too many errors, too many stewards. I hope that will be rectified this coming Season
