How about a loss of people from within the FIA, namely MM. Max makes great statements that do not affect him financially in any way. What a guy.

F1 » Renault F1 'in a strong position' economically

Whilst some have suggested Renault may be one of the manufacturers most at risk of following Honda out of the F1 exit door, the team insists that ahead of the 2009 season, economically it is 'in a strong position'.

Well, Flavio has said He's out in 2 yrs. Alonso rumours say Ferrari same time. Renault should be a safe bet til then. After that?

I still do not believe that Alonso is going to Ferrari. Glad to see Renault is slightly ahead of the curve on cost savings and should stay in F1 for year to come.

They pulled the rug out from underneath Williams end of 97. WDC. They waffled enough 06 to send Alonso to McLaren, 2WDC. If Flavio doe's retire, will Ghosen stay? :)

so why are they laying of the hard working staff on the shop floor then .maybe they should look upstairs and see how much they can cut back there.would save a fortune
