F1 » Davidson: F1 test ban removes chance to shine

Former Super Aguri star Anthony Davidson has called for F1 to allow third cars to run on the Fridays of grand prix weekends once more - arguing the lack of testing opportunities now harms young drivers' chances to shine.

I do think the ban on mid season testing is a bad idea! It will make it very difficult for teams to progress and iron out any problems with the cars, maybe they should just limit testing and allow it between March - July and then the end of the season where the teams are more than likely concentrating on next years cars!

Hmmmm, save the planet from more needless pollution or give a driver a "chance to shine?" You do the math... MATH :?

Friday third car testing to shine?
You mean, like, the only ones running with zero fuel on new tires and a new engine are the ones who paid for the seat. Compete without competition? It was a joke. What happened to all those friday testers? They are nowhere.
