@ Chris - if you really wonder that then must also wonder how Glock fealt when Lewis drove him off the road in Monza. I don't recall Schu driving anyone off the track so maybe you could list one or two examples. In the Hill incident it was Schu who almost ended up on his head not Damon and the JV incident was very low speed.

Why don't you tell us about how you cheered when Schu crashed and broke his leg?

@ Schumi - that is debatable. I for one think that Senna was dirtier than Schu. Senna was more pre-meditaded while Schu made some bad split second decisions.

The Schu incidents that everyone talks about are Hill, JV, Monaco qualifying, and a pre F1 incident with Hakkinen. Both the Hill and JV incidents were relatively low speed and like I said it was Schu who almost ended up on his head not Hill. I have not seen the pre F1 incident so I cannot comment on it. I seriously would like to know when he has driven someone off the track. Please enlighten me.

Pretty speachless Mark...

Those two incidents you mentioned were very much down to Shumacher. Low speed or not, he tried to take the other driver out of the race.

As for Hamilton, I personally don't beleive he tried to push Glock off the track, I don't think he realised how close he was. It was very wet at that point and you can't see out those next to useless mirrors at the best of times.

Mark_, since whe does speed have anything to do with it?

Also, if he was thinking of continuing with the race, it would have to be low speed or he'd risk putting his own car out of action!

@ Foo - my original comment had nothing to do with who was at fault. Chris stated that he wondered if these guys had the same fear that Schu experienced. I don't know how you can compare the actual incidents given the speed that Schu hit the barriers. Hill and JV were not injured and did not lose consciousness.

Still no one has given an example of Schu driving someone off the road. I was a Hill fan but when I look at that incident now it does not look as nefarious as I recall feeling it was at the time. With JV no doubt that was intentional. Senna on the other hand knew before the race even started that he was going to take Prost out. Maybe if Schu died in 1999 he would get a pass too.

He pushed many off the prefered line or apex which I consider off the road.
