McLarens 2009 car is the best looking thus far, the silver makes the new car look bearable...

It looks quite nice. I thought the F60 looked pretty good considering the rules, but the McLaren looks better. They won't look the same by Melbourne though!

FreQ - your 100% right there.

I thought the F60 looked awful, the red just doesnt suit the car..

As Massa said - he'd prefer a fast, ugly car than a slow, good looking car

Love how the rear wing looks. The whole back end gives the illusion that its not as tall as the ones on the ferrari and toyota. I think the wider fin (front to back) and raised rear body work is very clever in disguising this. Front suspension looks complex (hope it can take a knock) and the front tire air intake vents are interesting too. Very nice looking.

Not too bothered what they look like, do they make 5G in the bends, top 200MPH, stop on a dime and need real skills to drive? I hope so :)

Nice looking...but then its been a while since i've seen an ugly Mclaren

Strange that RD has chosen today to announce that he is stepping down....thought he'd have done it prior to today or in a few weeks

I think all the 2009 cars are fundamentally flawed. The front wings are wider than the width of the car and extend further than the front wheels. This ultimately mean that in wheel to wheel racing which they are designed to encourage they will repeatedly lose the wings, whereas with the 08 cars you might have been able to get away with it. This means that when someone lose their wings their race is more or less over. It is also mentioned that it will take longer to change the wings therefore taking the person out of the race. The stewards are therefore going to be more strict when incidents occur where wings are lost and this will bring more controversy. I can see it coming.

That is one good looking car. I really thought these '09 cars were not going to be ugly, but after seeing the Ferrari and McLaren, they're not that bad.

And LiloBosh, that's a 2009 rear wing, look at how narrow ans high it is mate!!
