Absolutely gutted for the whole team. It is quite simply a miracle that Vettel kept going after that crash with Senna.
They better get their act together for next year before Alonso's star starts to fade and I think that's not too far away.

Although Domenicali comes across as a nice guy and made Ferrari seem a lot more human that Todt ever did you have to say he hasn't been that successful, some goes for Whitmarsh at McLaren.

I know a lot of people don't like Horner but he's done a bl00dy good job.

Maybe but he has ultimate responsibility, maybe Pat Fry's influence will have more effect next year.

If they turn up at pre-season testing with another dud then surely the boards patience will run out, always been the bridesmaid doesn't reflect well from a marketing perspective for a brand such as Ferrari.....god knows what Merc's marketing folk think of the F1 project.

Not so Fernando Alonso could be WDC, Vettel might get penalised 20 secs for overtaking in a yellow sector, making him finish 8th and FA wins the title by 1 point. See BBC website for footage. it is clearly seen that he passes Jean-Eric Vergne before they enter the green zone.

Now that's against the rules, see bbc.co.uk web site

Incorrect my friend. The FIA already looked into this issue. It was not a yellow flag area. It was a solid yellow track condition marker. These are used to notify the drivers that the track is wet and slippery here. This is why there was no penalty. Also, why would there be a yellow flag in that area where you saw the footage? There was no spin-outs or accidents at that time in that sector so why would it be yellow? It was not a flag board that you saw was yellow, those flash on and off while displaying yellow. Track condition boards stay a solid color yellow, which is clearly shown in the video. Vettel over Alonso. Sorry Ferrari. Nice try though. Not Alonso's fault. His car was about as fast as my 10 speed bike.

Only repeating what was reported on radio 5 live and on their web site, actually slippery conditions are highlighted by an Orange and Yellow, not a straight yellow.

The main headline on this site declares a different or similar view depending on your viewpoint.

to question the yellow flag at that area, you would have to ask the sector marshall or his equivalent that one. the fact that there was has nothing to do with me.

As nice as Stefano is, his strategy of: "Let's build a shoddy car and hope that luck goes our way." is wearing thin. He hasn't run a properly competitive season in 5 years, 6 if you consider that Raikkonen was hunting for scraps between Lewis and Alonso in '07 and lucked out at the end.

They can't keep counting on all of their competitors to crash, and hopefully Monte finally sees that. Scrubbing the team's leadership & design house during the off-season in hopes of coming back stronger in 2014 may be their best hope.
