F1 » The move that could cost a world title?

Is this the proof that would be enough to see Sebastian Vettel stripped of his third F1 world championship crown?

Bwah..Bwah...Why keep crying?.Some people here just need to get over it. SEBASTIAN VETTEL IS THE 2012 WORLD CHAMPION .......If Ferrari wants to have the WDC they need to built a better car. If Alonso wants to be a WDC, he needs to be a better driver, and try not look ordinary in the last three races and lose it. I think Massa had the pace to win in Interlagos but he was the tailgunner for an ordinary Alonso.
Again, even if you don't like, VETTEL is the CHAMPION and not Alonso. If you can't live with it just buy some heavy duty rope...Regards

truth. unfortunately there are some with an agenda, and do not want to hear the truth! as i said on another thread, seb is a proffessional and would be 100% aware of where marshal posts etc were, and would be waiting to see the green flag. the view that all the armchair knockers see is an indistinct video footage from a rain spattered camera, yet they can interpret this to suit their own agenda.
my head is sore from banging against a brick wall!
if someone still believes that there was an illegal pass, i would suggest that they contact fia and lodge a protest. today is their last day to do so!

@VC
NO, there are not two different versions of the same footage. Your conspiracy theory holds no weight as it is completely false. All the footage is available on the web if people want to make the effort to find it. There is someone in the marshals tower in all versions of the footage. It is track regulation that someone has to be there doing their job.

I love how so many people selectively ignore the marshal waving the dark (blue or green) flag from the tower on the left of the track. It's blatantly obvious for anyone without an agenda to push. Having said that, it is hard to see on small videos like this. There are plenty around clearly showing the marshal waving the flag in the tower BEFORE Vettel overtakes.

Also, every single other team on the grid has analysed the footage in great detail yet none have expressed any desire to raise a protest except Ferrari vaguely trying to seed doubt.

Seriously, think before resorting to the tired old conspiracy theory defence. IT isn't a legitimate argument as it doesn't address known facts.

This page clearly outlines everything. Try reading and understanding the information before replying as it'll save everyone time. The site is called axisofoversteer and the post about Vettel is easy to find. Educate yourself

There is a guy waving a flag BEFORE the pass, not the flashing yellow lights, or the green lights. He is in a video without the digital graphic in the upper left corner. Some of you keep going on about him passing after the green lights, which is true, but aren't listening to the fact that he had already passed the green FLAG. Ferrari and Alonso will regret this pettiness.

On the internet there are two footaages.

1. showing there was a rather large man waving a flag.

2 showing noone in the scaffolding.

apparently the english version of that one has been removed from Youtube.

Go figure.

I could clearly see the flashing yellow to the right. Also the flashing green to the left - which was AFTER he'd overtaken.

I could not see the supposed green flag being waved before the green light, so it appears he did overtake before the green - I have always been taught to imagine an invisible line across the track where a flag is being waved (same would apply to a light). On that basis he seems at fault. But it's too late now. The Championship would be proved something of a laughing stock to the general public if he was penalised so long after the event. Maybe stick a negative point penalty for 2013 (just to p1ss off the vettel supporters).
