Sebastian Vettel makes a good start from pole position and while Mark Webber challenges into Turn 1, the German holds on...
Further back, Michael Schumacher suffers a right-rear puncture following contact with Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne. It is going to be a long afternoon for the Mercedes driver...
Fernando Alonso meanwhile almost passes both McLarens in one move on the back straight... In the end he get ahead of Lewis Hamilton on lap 1 and then passes Jenson Button on lap 4
In the early stages, Vettel and Webber begin to pull away. The Red Bulls are in a class of their own...
After the pit stops, Webber starts to come under pressure from Alonso. The Spaniard sweeps passed on lap 48, as the Aussie struggles with a KERS issue
Vettel has a slight scare near the end with a loose skid block, but still wins comfortably, almost 10 seconds up on Alonso
Despite his KERS issues, Webber resists a late charge from Lewis Hamilton and hangs on to take the final spot on the podium
Vettel wins again and extends his lead in the F1 2012 Drivers' Championship to 13 points...
Vettel celebrates on the podium. Alonso doesn't look quite so happy...
