Who has been busiest during F1 testing?

Esteban Gutierrez and Sauber top the lap charts as the final pre-season test draws to a close ahead of the 2013 F1 campaign
As was the case after the penultimate test of the winter, Sauber will head into the opening round of the new F1 season with more miles under its belt than any of its rivals following the conclusion of the final four-day session in Barcelona.

Esteban Gutierrez and Nico Hulkenberg put another 388 laps on the C32 during the Catalunya test for a grand total of 1161 laps over twelve days of testing in Spain, meaning the car has completed 66 laps more than the new Mercedes F1 W04.

Mercedes were the busiest team during the final test, with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton completing more miles than anyone else – and doing so quickly, after both took their turn at the head of the times.

Amongst the drivers, Gutierrez is the only driver to have completed more than 600 laps as he prepares for his debut season, wih Rosberg and Hulkenberg following behind.

At the other end of the scale, the late nature of their deals mean Jules Bianchi and Adrian Sutil are the two race drivers who go into the new season with the lowest number of laps under their belt, although Kimi Raikkonen's various issues – and his illness during the final test – mean he is also lacking track time with just 259 laps to his name.

No fewer than eight drivers have completed double Raikkonen's lap total as the field now heads to Australia for the opening round of the new season in Melbourne.
