IanS, the Brawn's may not have KERS, but what they do have is the double diffuser which gives them a lot of downforce, which means that they can corner much faster than those cars without the double diffuser who have to slow down more to take a corner.

What KERS does is give the cars a short boost, mostly used in straights, which just keeps them ahead of the double diffuser cars. But once we get to the corners, we see a different story.

Given that the Brawn's and the FI's both use the Mercedes engine, I wonder if the McLaren Mercedes KERS will eventually end up on those cars as well?
