F1 » Briatore: Nothing personal in Piquet dismissal

Renault F1 managing director Flavio Briatore has insisted that Nelsinho Piquet was sacked purely due to his poor performances inside the car, not for any disagreements on a personal level.

Piquet needs a better manager and team as does alonso. Renault isn't what it once was, that started last year. Piquet can't be blamed for his lack of good testing days given to him, nor his lack of newer parts given to Alonso instead. Grosjean has equality to Alonso at this race that's why he was as fast as he was. Give Piquet another car that actually runs fast and he'll be up there.
