Sauber has officially confirmed that long-time McLaren-Mercedes test driver Pedro de la Rosa will compete for the former BMW operation in F1 2010.

No mention of the fact that McL let Pedro pursue his dreams. If it were a couple of other teams he would have been STUCK with his test role. Fair play by McL and Martin. The McL team seems to have picked up a lot of class since someone left.
