which is why I am in favour of the radio normally being one-way during the race, driver to pits, or can only be used when you are calling the driver in. Keep the rules simple. You could say that once the team presses that push-to-talk switch, the driver has to come down the pit lane next time round, or else its a stop-go penalty.

I believe Moto GP and/or WSB has got rid of radios and they seem to manage okay.
