Red Bull's Mark Webber came through to take a convincing win in the Spanish Grand Prix today, leading from start-to-finish to notch up his first victory of the F1 2010 season.

I take it you don't like my "armchair" inspiration. That's fine, you are entitled to your opinion, but in my view the slipstream effect is an essential part of short circuit racing. I believe its reintroduction could rejuvinate F1, if not in itself then through a knock on effect (sorry it's the armchair) via engineering.
Hill would never have passed Schumacher into turn 1 at the Hungaroring in 1997, and leave the field in his wake, without a slipstream. In one of the worst cars in F1! We would have never seen such an extraordingary race.
I'd better stop before I harp on about Senna & co.
