Bridgestone director of motorsport tyre development Hirohide Hamashima says his company will gladly help F1 tyre-supplying successor Pirelli should the Italian manufacturer so wish.

Wonder if they really did say they wouldn't help or it was just some journalistic hype or interpretation.
Anyway's it's a surprise to me but I doubt that they will just hand over any of the vast knowledge they summed up over the years to a competitor.
