The important statement here is "'defrauding' fans of their right to honest competition."
Whether you like or dislike the man that said it is irrelevent, and puring vile invective onto this site will not and does not help.
If I want to see something that has been arranged before the start I will go to a theatre and watch a play: sport is about fair competition and that's what fair spectators pay their money for.
