While Legard may not have been great, the main argument should be whether it is a good idea to have 2 ex-F1 drivers doing the commentary. Personally I think not. Can you imagine how the weekend coverage would look if you substituted Jake Humphrey with another ex-driver to banter with DC and EJ? I don't understand how anyone can say Murray Walker wasn't that good, the man was a God!! The voice of Formula 1 to generations of fans. It was his enthusiasm that was so great and who cared that he made mistakes, that's what the ex-driver is there for, to correct and add technical info. I'd have Murray Walker at 87 over DC every time.
