Tony Fernandes has claimed that 'the good do always eventually win' after the High Court in London brought forward the date of its hearing into the Lotus branding row.

He had plenty of choice. When he accepted the sponsorship and naming agreement with Lotus he knew that one day that agreement would expire and his team could no longer use the Lotus name in F1. If he wasn't prepared to accept that then he shouldn't have entered into the deal with Lotus in the first place but he figured the Lotus brand would help him build credibility. But having entered into that deal and enjoying the benefits of the Lotus brand, he then sought to undermine Lotus's ability to choose who used their name in F1 by buying the rights to "Team Lotus". Are you surprised Group Lotus pulled out of the deal and are now taking legal action?
