F1 » Button: Strategy was wrong


McLaren's Jenson Button has said his strategy was to blame after he only finished sixth in today's F1 2011 Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park.

oldtimer. the fastest laps are put in when the cars are lightest, and when on new tyres. unfortunately when the macca was light, button was on worn out tyres with little or no grip. that is why he wasnt fastest, or further up the field. his pace on the first stint, before the change of strategy, was as good as anybody.
