Greece has revealed its intention to join the F1 schedule in the not-too-distant future, with plans to build a circuit close to the western port of Patras.

The country is on the verge of bankruptcy so they want to spend millions on a loss making vanity project - it is no wonder they are in financial mess with an attitude like that.No doubt the kickbacks for the contracts will have already been arranged.
As far as the 'successful'Olympics are concerned ,they are still paying for the event.
