Agree with Firefly on this one being a calculated risk. He did say post-race that he was prepared to drop to 3rd at any point if he felt his tires giving way. It's not all luck as some are quick to point out.

I think he fully deserved this win. He managed the tires well under severe pressure. He really seems to have grown as a driver.
