In response to the debate generated by today's BBC/Sky Sports announcement, the Beeb's Head of F1, Ben Gallop, has sought to cast some light upon the rationale behind the new arrangement.

We must follow the careers of those who have made this decision and see if they move from the BBC in the near future!
Personally I will never have Sky or any murdoch product.
I did wonder if this was the thin end of the wedge but am advised that it's part way along already. The BBC is certainly charging a licence fee far in excess of its worth and this needs, one way or the other, to change .. and soon.
