I do feel a bit sorry for him - I'm not sure I would advise a rookie driver to take the second Virgin seat - you get to drive an ill-handling dog of a car with rubbish aero for an inexperienced team, whilst attempting to measure yourself against a vastly more experienced team-mate who is both very talented and greatly underrated. Fab! It is the proverbial 'hiding to nothing'. Not that I'm arguing that he's the next Nuvolari, but he's hardly been totally out of his depth either.
