F1 » Button: Second great, little problems frustrating

Jenson Button has blamed clutch issues for his tardy start in Italy today, and while he is convinced McLaren has what it takes to win, he has conceded 'little problems' are holding them back.

Button has displayed yet again that he thinks things through a little more astutely than others in a race.

Again its not about gung ho bash head against brick wall for 20 odd laps.

its not about sprinting about sprinting about buring out your tyres trying to overtake anything that moves in front of you straight away.

Its about patience, tact, strategy and being realistic about what to expect out of a race, and being able to adapt as the race conditions dictate.

So Button didn't try for lap after lap trying to overtake Schumi. No. He read what was going on, saw the possibilities and sat and waited for his chance. And when it came he took it clinically and superbly without any great fuss.

So whose the dumbass???
