Realistically, I wonder where RBR's ideal positioning of STR would be. Obviously they would control the majority of the team's budget allowance, and overall structure. I suppose they'd like them to beat Sauber next year, but then where does it stop? Do they keep moving forward as a team until they are a team on Mercedes' performance level? It's a curious case because I'm sure RBR would like STR to be as good as possible for their junior drivers, but at the same time you don't want to get them close enough to cause upsets to RBR should one of the lead cars have a problem in a race.
