German banker Gerhard Gribkowsky has been handed an eight-year jail term for crimes including accepting bribes from F1 ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone.

The chances are greater than 50% that Daimler-Benz will pull out of F1. Their board members are already leery of associating with Formula 1 people of dubious reputations, mainly Ecclestone. They are, in addition, unhappy to go along with Bernie's latest version of the Concorde Agreement, so don't expect to see Die Silberpfeile next season.
