It shouldn't go ahead but you can never be sure that some shady deal won't be done to fleece taxpayers yet again in order to subsidise private business interests. People like BE can walk in and out the back door of Number 10 as they please - the PM will change his diary to suit their schedule if necessary - so anything is possible. All the Olympic 'legacy' conditions which were an integral part of Britain being the awarded the games have already been thrown out the window.
