F1 » FIA issues engine mapping clarification

The FIA has issued a clarification in the wake of the Red Bull engine mapping row in Germany, and the Milton Keynes-based team will now have to make changes for Hungary.

There was no new rule introduced. This was clarification of an existing rule to ensure the goal of the rule was clearer to all teams.

RBR's action was questionable but I would not call it cheating.

Now their reaction to the clarification - that's another story....
