Button has as good a shot as anybody this year.

There are a lot of races to go. Consistency throughout the field has been lacking all year. Maclaren may be the form team... and his team-mate isn't doing much to endear himself at the moment. I see no reason why he should stand aside for Hamilton.

All he can do is take it one race at a time and count the points at the end of the year.
