Political reasons promoted Bottas to the race seat but there is no way a rookie can perform better than a good driver would do in a second season with the team. The big difference is that Bottas won't lose any FP1, unlike Senna, so maybe he can do better than Senna did last year. However, I don't believe he will do better than Senna would do in a second year.
