F1 » Pirelli sets greater overtaking goal for 2013

Pirelli has said that its latest range of F1 tyres has been designed to encourage more strategic thinking and greater levels of overtaking than become possible in 2011-12.

I don't think Pirelli has thought this through. Even Softer tyres means more tyre wear, meaning more marbles off the racing line and therefore on the overtaking line, so I can only see this meaning fewer overtakes on the track, not more, and actually more processional races.
