Pirelli brushed aside any grumbles about the supersoft option tyres being too short-lived in Melbourne, and said they'd worked just as intended.

Besides destroying F1, Pirelli no longer make the tyres for which they were famous.

I put a set on my 5 series & contemplated throwing them away after just 1000 miles. Noise levels were intolerable & no performance advantages to offset............

Bring back multiple tyre manufacturers and enable flat out racing for at least 20-25 laps
