F1 » Would extra tyres, reserve drivers boost action?

Pirelli has been asked whether it would consider supplying extra tyres for FP1 in order to ensure on-track action.

Not true, even when they had tires to run in the past they wouldn't venture out much. If they had tires now, they'd just not use the engine. I prefer a third car for all teams in P1 with a seperate set of tires with the reserve driver in. At least then you have a spare car built up ready for the rest of the weekend, instead of in bit's in the trucks.
