The idea that Vettel would risk his rear wing being damaged is ridiculous. Front wings can easily be changed, rear wings take 10 minutes.

Far more likely is that vettel didn't feel he could put the power down at that point due to the track being wet and so was slow.

Sounds like Alonso chatting ****e. Remember last season when he said it was Raikkonen's fault he crashed out saying Raikkonnen should have lifted and given him room. As if he EVER would have lifted off himself.
