silver arrows, nobody 'pushed' Lewis Hamilton out of McLaren. He left of his own accord to a team that offered not only more money but the promise to make him a 'global brand'. He didn't leave with pound signs in his eyes, but with dreams in his head of big posters of himself in every Mercedes dealership around the world. He's also planning a museum in his childhood home to show off all his trophies and to celebrate his exploits when he retires. I hear the evenings just fly by with Lewis Hamilton as he regales you with tales of his heroic drives and gets you to watch re-runs of all his best moves.

And the driver who stayed at McLaren was actually on course for a possible podium at the last race in a complete dog of a car or, at worst, 5th. Would Lewis have done any better than that? I think not!
